Petteri Orpo has called on Xi Jinping to use his influence to help stop Russia’s war in Ukraine. The Finnish Prime Minister made the statement during a state visit to China, where he held talks with the country’s leadership.
“Xi has the power to help bring peace to Ukraine,” Orpo said during a press briefing at the Finnish Embassy in Beijing. He stated that China’s support for Russia, direct or indirect, weakens ties between China and the European Union.
